Frontend NI FPGA-Technology
The R-series front-end module system (DIN rail module system) is a modular measuring and control system which can be actuated and read via an FPGA card from National Instruments. That means that FPGA modules with a pure logic interface or with a mixed interface (logic interface + analog interface) can be used.
There is a master module with 8 module slots that can be fitted with various slot modules.
The following variations are possible:

The R-series front-end master module (DIN rail module) is equipped with 8 slots in order to accommodate various carrier modules.

The R-series plug-in module 28 V-IN is a 2-channel digital input module for galvanic isolated detection of voltage signals.
